COMSATS and Syndesis Health Inc move to collaborate in Genomic Sequencing Programs

The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS),an intergovernmental organization of 27 member states, signed a letter of intent with Syndesis Health Inc. The letter will allow reaching a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in “National Programs of Genomic Sequencing” for COMSATS Member States.

Syndesis Health Inc. is a company incorporated in Delaware, USA, with its headquarters in New York. It accelerates research and innovation for companies in the health, life sciences and biotechnology sectors.

The letter of intent was signed by the Executive Director of COMSATS, Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, and the Co-Founder and Director of Syndesis Health Inc, Mr. Kamil Mehmood.

This collaboration will improve health care, promote R&D, acquire scientific, technical and technological knowledge for the scientific community and citizens of COMSATS member countries and train health organizations. The cooperation will design technical programs to expand healthcare infrastructure in COMSATS member states and provide AI-based software and analytics.
